Race 4 in our point series was held June 14. The pits were filled with local racers and racers from hundreds of miles around for the Sunoco Fuel ET Championship Race Series. The weather was beautiful and there was horse power to be made.
Super Pro Final: Jeremy McGhee of Vancouver (‘01 Dragster) dominated the weekend with winning back to back races. But not with out a fight from Lyle Hood of Phoenix, OR (‘68 Camaro) McGhee’s RT of .018, 7.53 ET on a 7.52 dial took the win light over the always hard to beat Hood’s package of .013 RT, 11.07, 11.10 dial.
Pro Final: Dan Stokes of Albany OR (‘65 Satellite) surrendered the win to Kory Alby of Coos Bay, OR (‘63 Nova) when he went red by just two one thousands of a second. The great air came in to break out both racers. Alby: .067 RT, 9.74 ET, 9.78 dial. Stokes: -.002 RT, 10.96 ET, 10.98 dial.
Sportsman Final: Anthony Guida of White City OR (‘72 Chevelle) will be hard to catch in the points chase after this race win over Charlene Ross of Ridgefield, WA (‘80 Luv). Quida took his 3rd win of the season with a RT of .005 and ET of 13.43 on13.42 dial.
Motorcycle Final: Scotty Pollacheck of Medford, OR (’76 Kawasaki) swept the weekend with a repeat win over Jerry Stinson of Medford, OR (‘05 Hayabusa). Pollacheck’s winning pass was a .056 RT, 8.85 ET on a 8.82 dial. The great air pushed Stinson out the back door with a 9.63 ET on a 9.69 dial.
JR Dragster Final: Jason Brunelle of Eagle Point nailed his dial in of 8.96 to win over Forrest Angwin of Grants Pass OR. Angwin was also bit by the great air. 8.79 ET on an 8.90 dial.

The ‘65 Satellelite driven by Dan Stokes of Albany, Oregon scored the win against Skip Hannan of Rogue River, Oregon. Stokes had a RT of .052 and an ET of 11.09 on a dial of 11.01.
